With the UK leaving the EU on the 1st January 2021, as a general rule we are experiencing small delays in shipments arriving from our suppliers in the EU primarily due to the extended time it is taking for the relevant import/export documentation to be checked and verified. There is also a considerable backlog of goods at distribution warehouses both for imports and exports as a consequence of Covid-19 and this is also having a knock on effect to delivery schedules.
Satelliet-UK are working with all of our European suppliers & hauliers as well as UK hauliers to ensure that any delays are overcome as quickly as possible so that our supply chain has minimal interruption.
